At 43, Julia sees her journey into motherhood as excellent preparation for her directorial role. With Strummer, 6, and Arlo, 2, already in the picture, she feels adept at balancing various responsibilities. While Julia and Preston, who exchanged vows in 2017 before Strummer’s arrival, have chosen to keep their expanding family low-key, Julia previously shared the joy of Arlo’s arrival on her social media platforms. In a January 2022 post, she welcomed Baby Arlo with a heartwarming caption accompanying a snapshot of the newborn’s tiny feet. “Welcome to the world, Baby Arlo,” she wrote, reflecting on the boundless nature of love.
