Dacoit: A Love Story (2025 film) – Trailer – Selective Ranks

In the unforgiving heartlands of India, one man’s broken heart becomes the catalyst for a storm of vengeance. Anurag Kashyap plays Raghav, a hardened convict who once lived as a feared dacoit, but whose downfall came not through violence — but through betrayal by the woman he loved. That woman, Aarohi (played by Mrunal Thakur), was once his world. Their bond, forged in fire and rebellion, was torn apart when she abandoned him at his weakest, leaving him to rot behind bars.

Now released and fueled by a seething thirst for revenge, Raghav begins his relentless hunt — not just to confront Aarohi, but to understand why she betrayed him. But as the chase intensifies, secrets unravel. The story shifts between past and present, revealing a love story that was more than it seemed — tangled in power, fear, and survival.

Prakash Raj plays a cunning political figure who had his own reasons for tearing Raghav and Aarohi apart — and may have manipulated both for his own gain. Directed by Shaneil Deo, Dacoit: A Love Story blends gritty action, emotional trauma, and psychological tension into a dark romantic thriller. As Raghav closes in on Aarohi, he must confront the fine line between love and obsession, pain and redemption. In a world where every heart has scars and every truth has layers, who’s the real traitor?
