Dhurandhar (2025 film) – Trailer – Selective Ranks

“Dhurandhar” is a heart-pounding action, thriller, and spy thriller based on the struggle, sacrifice, and patriotism of a brave officer of India’s intelligence agency. The film is not just a story of fighting against enemies, but also a test of a man’s inner battle and his relationships.

The story begins with Kabir Vardhan (Ranveer Singh), a quiet but highly capable RAW officer. He is so engrossed in his mission that he has almost forgotten about his personal life. The safety of the country is everything to him. But things change for Kabir when a secret tip-off comes that a huge traitor network is operating inside India, which is passing on important secrets of the country to an external enemy.

Kabir is ordered to expose this network. As he investigates, he comes to know that people very close to him are also part of this conspiracy, whom he never suspected. Meanwhile, Kabir encounters Aryan Malik (Sanjay Dutt), once a senior officer in RAW, but now the country’s most dangerous enemy. Aryan is planning to embarrass India on a global scale in exchange for a national secret. In the middle of the mission, Kabir discovers that his girlfriend Maya (Sara Arjun) is also under surveillance by this network. Maya is a simple journalist, but she has been unknowingly made a part of a bigger network. Kabir now has to not only fight the enemies, but also prove the truth by saving Maya.

The second half of the film consists of India’s internal politics, the duplicity of high-ranking officials, and the exposé of the trio thein RAW. Ajith (R. Madhavan), who is the National Security Advisor, gives Kabir complete freedom to bring out the truth, no matter what the cost.

The last 30 minutes of the film are thrilling and emotional. Kabir goes on a secret mission to Bangkok, where Aryan is a nuclear data transmitter. After great action, intelligence, and sacrifice, Kabir succeeds in the mission, but a bullet wounds him. Maya saves him, and Kabir returns home, but not physically — but as a hero, as a sacrifice. Dhurandhar is not just a film, but an emotional journey. It reminds us that true “heroes” are those who destroy themselves to save others. Kabir was a Dhurandhar — a true conqueror.
